1.
Arrive Early - When you have a confirmed
tee time arrive at least 20 minutes prior
to your time. If you are late you may not
be able to get on the course but
will still be charged.
Call
the course if running
late!
2.
When you arrive at the course - Go to pro
shop/starter and let them know you are
here. Present your golf voucher if on a
package.
3.
Carts
are
part of all our packages and the cost is
included in your package at all courses,
except Chambers
Bay. You may
choose to walk at most courses, but no
refund will be paid. Many of our
courses are hilly (to put it mildly) and a
few have long walks
between one green and the next
tee. Check with the pro shop before
deciding to walk.
4.
Rain/Bad Weather - If it is raining where
you are staying, it may not be raining at
the golf course. Call the course to see if
they are open. Get the name of person you
spoke with.
5.
Rain Checks - If the course is
closed
they will offer you a rain check. You have
to go to the golf course to get your rain
check. There are
NO
RAIN CHECKS issued at Chambers
Bay. All tee
times are firm once you are within 72
hours of your tee time. If for
any reason Chambers Bay is
closed, only then will you receive a
refund. Rain, wind, and cold do
not constitute grounds for a refund
at Chambers Bay.
At other courses, if you want a refund
instead of a rain check,
your Travel
Planner must call the
golf course to verify they were closed and
if the refund will be allowed.
Each
golf course will vary in what they will
do!
6.
Frost Delay - Just what it says. Delays due
to frost. No refunds are normally allowed
due to frost delays. The starter will get
you out as soon as possible. On frosty
mornings, call the golf course and find out
specifics.
7.
Replays - To get a guaranteed replay, you
have to pre-book it.
If
you want to take a chance,
when you check in, ask at the pro
shop about a replay. If they
have times available, you may get a
reduced rate.
8.
Cancellations/Changes - If you have a
confirmed tee time and have to cancel or
reduce the number of golfers, you must
call your Travel Planner or the
golf course 72 hours
prior to your tee time. Most courses
will try to work with you, though some
courses may charge you for late
cancellations. Don't wait until the last
minute.
9.
Spikes - All
our courses permit
only "soft spikes".
10.
Coolers - Ice coolers are normally
not
allowed unless provided by
the course.
11.
Attire - Proper golf attire is always
required: no tank tops, t-shirts,
short-shorts, or blue jeans.
12.
Groups - All courses only allow a maximum
of 4 golfers in a group. If you are a
threesome, the starter may put a
single with you, a twosome with another
twosome.
13.
Course Maintenance - Most of our
courses "Aerate and Sand" in
April or May and again in October
(depending on weather). Ask
your Travel Planner when booking
tee times.
14.
Caddies,
Bag & Cart Attendants - These
people depend on "tips" to make up the bulk
of their salary. Please take care of
them.
15.
Please use proper golf etiquette at all
times -- fix divots, rake traps, keep carts
away from greens and tees -- and avoid
slow play.
